Pretty much, I just want to say, "I love making things!" I usually don't succeed, and then I am disappointed... but still... I get a certain kind of joy that is difficult to explain when I have made something that I like, it is different than when you buy something you like. The fun is in the process... in making some really not-so-great stuff, and then finally triumphing.

Trying new things!

So, big news for me... yesterday, I created my own etsy shop! I have ONE creation listed... but it's a start right? I'm not exactly sure how to get a link from there on here... but I will, if any of you are interested in taking a peek. :) I'm actually really excited- it's such a small thing, but definitely NOT my norm. I'm really going out on a limb here... but don't get too concerned. I've already decided that if knowone EVER purchases anything of mine, it won't be because they don't LOVE what I've made, because of course they will, right? It will just mean that they don't have the money for it right now-- maybe frills aren't in their budget, as they often aren't in mine. I know. Seriously EVERY day I see things I LOVE LOVE LOVE... things that aren't even overpriced... but for whatever reason, I rarely buy them. So, it's fine! My feelings won't get hurt. It's just exciting to try new things! So... wahoo! Wish me luck!

Here's a picture of item number 1! It looks similar to the project from my most recent post... using up the leftovers. :) This time, I layered vintage buttons. Go to my etsy to check out the description I wrote up. I'm actually pretty impressed with myself.
