Pretty much, I just want to say, "I love making things!" I usually don't succeed, and then I am disappointed... but still... I get a certain kind of joy that is difficult to explain when I have made something that I like, it is different than when you buy something you like.
The fun is in the process... in making some really not-so-great stuff, and then finally triumphing.

My new obsession
People, button covering is where it's at. Seriously easy, and beyond adorable- simple project ideas abound. I love it.
When I was a young girl- I thought myself a budding artist. Others disagreed... I gave it up. But now, at the age of 24... I am following my heart-- lightly. After all- I'm a novice creator. No need to break bank when all the world is full of supplies.
"The grownups advised me to put away my drawings...and apply myself instead to geographry, history, arithmetic, and grammar. That is why I abandoned, at the age of six, a magnificent career as an artist. I had been discouraged..." (The Little Prince)
But no more. I'm "mak(ing) a little birdhouse" in my soul, and everywhere else I suppose. This is how I begin. I have been inspired.
