Pretty much, I just want to say, "I love making things!" I usually don't succeed, and then I am disappointed... but still... I get a certain kind of joy that is difficult to explain when I have made something that I like, it is different than when you buy something you like. The fun is in the process... in making some really not-so-great stuff, and then finally triumphing.

stay tuned... I will soon be posting a "how-to" stamp/paint/dye, whatever.... onesies and kid shirts photoed.
Humm... though now that the pictures are uploaded they don't look so great. You see, for me, I like the unpolished look- the smudges on the borders etc.... though maybe I'm alone on this. At any rate- I'll tell you how I do it- maybe it'll give you some even BETTER ideas-imagine. :) This all to come next time.

  1. Well, I just love everything and am sooo glad you made a blog for it all. I am so proud of you for finding a way to do what you love. I really do think that everything is so cute, and can't wait for your etsy shop!

  2. way to go britta- you clever girl. please give me instructions for stamping. i want to make henry an uno shirt for his birthday like one i saw on this blog:
check it out and let me know if you think you know how i can do it.

  3. Britta! This is so great, I love everything about it. I'm going to make lots of baby onesies and by the time Sam and I have kids they won't have time to wear all the trendy threads I've made them before they grow out of them. Really....this is fabulous. A little bit of heaven in blog form. Call me a blog stalker...whatever...I love the panda one. So cute. I am highly anticipating more to come! Yay!

  4. Yes, yes, yes! Do tell these secrets of these! And did ya hear our baby is a little girl?! We just found out last week! I can't wait to start making things for this little baby! So post this tutorial ASAP so I can begin the process!

  5. Those onesies are cute! And now they are mine! hahaha! :) Do you have special washing instructions for them?
